I was sure this was posted some place, but I couldn't find i, so I'll put it here. The maximum number of players allowed on a roster in the game is 30. We can allow 32 because I can use your minors, but anything over that is ridiculous. You'll never use that many guys, so if you end up with that many players, PR can cut you off during free agency. If you go over the limit, you need to "release" players to free agency via waivers, even if their cap hit is under 1 million.
