The league is taking a zero tolerance stance on altering player contracts. If you have signed or traded for a player that has a certain contract type, duration, trade clause or salary you are bound to that contract. Some consideration might be given to a GM that has inherited a roster and there is a possibility the previous GM had been too lazy or ignorant to correctly post a certain contract.
Our mods and admins are very keen to catching these acts and if you are caught with a high-likelihood of intent, you will be banned without question. None of us want to get into policing others' rosters, salaries or players. If you can't be trusted to appropriately run your team, you are gone.
Because of this, any alterations, corrections or addendums to trades will have to be completely reposted and a GM should not edit a trade post. If required, only Admins can edit a trade after it is posted.
Waivers and trades are how you will rid yourself of any unwanted contracts.

Hey guys. Alot of guys are asking Nashville why he waived Austin Watson. The reason is because an admin discovered that Watson's contract was altered after being acquired by him. As we have no "absolute" proof that it was purposly cheating, it looked quite suspiscious and likely. The mods voted to give him a slap on the wrist, but decided some sorta punishment was required. So as we did with Florida, we decided that he had to give the player up.
Guys, please be more careful with your contracts. We might not be able to catch everything, but we're gonna catch most of it, and if we do, you'll lose the player, and possibly your team (repeat offence and it's an automatic). We're here to have fun, and salary cap challenges are what real life GM's have to contend with, and so do we. If you're in cap trouble, put your nose to the grindstone and make some deals. Don't just post a block and C-box it. PM some offers, and do some hustling.
Please remember, it's just a sim league, cheating is something nobody wants to deal with.
I've already spoken to Nashville about it, and he's been co-operative, and I know it won't happen again, so please, lets's leave it in the past, I don't wanna see anyone getting on his case about it. It's been dealt with, and I just want us to go back to business, and having fun.
Thanks. PR
