Ichiban Salad
1 pound (454 g) bag of coleslaw mix
1 package of Ichiban noodles (dry)
Dressing:
Packet of seasoning from Ichiban noodles (any flavor, we like original best though)
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. cooking oil
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 tsp. sesame seeds, toasted
1. Crumble the dry noodles from the Ichiban package.
2. In large bowl, combine raw noodles and coleslaw mix.
3. In small bowl, stir all six dressing ingredients together.
4. Pour dressing over salad.
5. Toss gently. Refrigerate until serving.
VARIATIONS:
* Toast some almonds or sunflower seeds and add along with the toasted sesame seeds.
* Add chopped cooked chicken and chopped pecans for a light meal.
* Add red pepper flakes for some spice.
