Each GM will get to upgrade 3 minor league players. These players cannot have played more than 24 games, goalies no more than 11. Overall limit is 80. (even if a player is 79 overall, they will be stopped at 80 overall). AGE LIMIT IS 26.
Upgrade size will depend on age and overall.
-a player that's under 66 overall will get a boost to an overall of 74 automatically regardless of age. -a player that's 66-72 overall will get a plus 5, ONLY if they are 21 or younger. Any older and it's a plus 4.
-players of 73-76 overall get a plus 4. IF they are over the age of 23 they get a plus 3.
-players 77-79. An upgrade to 81 is automatic. So a player in this overall range should be promoted and given enough games to make them eligible for a roster upgrade if you want them to develop well... Age limit is 26 remember!
Those are the rules posted for minor upgrades. Just adjust them to the real life stats and games played.
